Tullymore Golf Resort

11969 TULLYMORE DRIVE, STANDWOOD, MI

Centrally located an hour and fifteen minutes north of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Tullymore Golf Resort is home to St. Ives Golf Club and Tullymore Golf Club, both par-72 courses set within 800 acres of woodland and wetlands. Featuring 36 holes of golf, two clubhouses complete with pro-shops, three restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness and recreation facilities, and live entertainment, Tullymore is an amenity-rich destination.

First opened in 1995, St. Ives is an award-winning golf course designed by the late Jerry Matthews, a prolific and renowned golf architect. Carved out of glacial till, the course offers dramatic elevation changes of up to 80 feet. Guests traverse through woodlands, wetlands, and the rugged highlands that present multiple shot choices and wonderful views of the area.

In 2002, Tullymore Golf Course was introduced as a challenging addition to the resort’s portfolio as it meanders through woods, wetlands, and meadows. Designed by Jim Engh, renowned golf course designer, Tullymore features multiple sets of tees and a number of par-3 and par-5 holes throughout its layout. It is located just a short drive from St. Ives and guests wind their way back to the clubhouse, which was designed by Jim Nordlie, AIA, of Archiventure Group of Denver, Colorado. There are five par-3s, all unique in distance and appearance, with the back-to-back fourth and fifth holes sharing the difference in club selection offerings. The fourth hole plays over the water from the back set of tees, but offers an easier approach from the left on the forward and middle tees. The fifth hole, however, sees the narrow and very deep green well protected by mounds and bunkers. The course also offers five par-5s with a couple of the reachable par-5s offering a nice mix of scoring opportunities.
