The 327-acre resort has partnered with The Golf Explorer Magazine for a play-and-stay package for the upcoming golf season. 

Attention golf explorers: Evergreen Resort in Cadillac, Mich. has teamed up with The Golf Explorer: Michigan’s Journal to Incredible Golf to offer special all-inclusive golf packages just in time for spring. 

The Golf 2018 Explorer Package at Evergreen Resort, which saves each golfer $50 to start and lasts throughout the 2018 golf season, can be used as a three-day golf, two-night lodging package at $249 per person; or a two-day golf, one-night option at $149 per person. Evergreen Resort, formerly known as McGuire’s, features the 18-hole Spruce course, and the nine-hole Norway course. The Spruce course is on a hillside overlooking Lake Cadillac and winds through a pine forest with challenging smaller greens from the classic era of golf architecture. With six tee positions, it accommodates all golfers with a maximum of 6,411 yards. The Norway course is a little easier to navigate and is played most often by casual golfers or beginners. It has four tee positions and measures a maximum of 2,694 yards.  

Evergreen Resort also features newly renovated rooms, two on-site restaurants, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna at the popular family resort. The dining at the resort includes the imaginative regional cuisine in Passage North—The Grill at Evergreen Resort, and the casual tavern known as Curly’s Bar. Curly’s is named for the McGuire’s co-founder. Curly and his wife Velma started the resort when they purchased a roadside restaurant in 1949.
