The Michigan Golf Hall of Fame plans to raffle off three prizes during its 2018 induction ceremony.
The Loop, an innovative and award-winning reversible golf course design that made its debut last year at Forest Dunes Golf Club in Roscommon, Michigan, is already appearing on golf destination “bucket lists.”
The chance to play 36 holes, as in both ways throughout the course of two days with an overnight of lodging, is available for only $20 per ticket in the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame Bucket List raffle.
The Loop adventure is one of three prizes available, with the others being: golf for three at the famous Oakland Hills Country Club’s South course, and golf for two at the exclusive Wuskowhan Players Club near Holland.
Three winners will be selected out of the 550 tickets being sold by the Michigan Golf Foundation, which administers the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame. The first drawn will take the first pick among the three prizes. The drawing day will take place on Saturday, June 2 during the 2018 MGHOF induction ceremonies at Ferris State University’s Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids as the MGHOF inducts Bud Erickson, Tom Harding, Gordon LaFontaine, and Debbie Williams-Hoak—and winners do not need to be present.
To order a raffle ticket or tickets with a credit card, go to michigan-golf-foundation.com. They are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. The proceeds of the sale will go to support the Michigan Golf Foundation, which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
In its first year, The Loop was honored by Golf Digest as the Best New Public Course, and by GOLF Magazine as the Best New U.S. Course You Can Play.
The Loop, with its revolutionary reversible design, is a walking-only experience featuring the option of professional caddies. The two different layouts alternate directions on a daily basis. Forest Dunes also includes the acclaimed Tom Weiskopf design that won Best New Course plaudits from Golf Digest when it opened in 2002.
